Yes, I am returning to Greece for an exclusive Greek Island Yoga Retreat
Join me and fellow yoga teacher Catherine Leong for an exclusive Greek Island Yoga Retreat, taking place from 16th–20th May 2019.
Experience a magical exclusive yoga retreat lasting 5 days and 4 nights on the island of Kythnos.
The island of Kythnos
Kythnos is a hidden Cycladic treasure and one of the few Greek islands that remains largely undiscovered. Expect peaceful surroundings rather than crowds, along with 360° panoramic views across the Aegean Sea. The island is home to an endless coastline and traditional whitewashed villages.
You will stay at Porto Klaras Hotel.
Situated in the village of Loutra, on the northern side of Kythnos, Porto Klaras is within easy walking distance of Loutra’s sandy beach and the renowned Kythnos Hot Springs. The Kythnos Hydrotherapy Centre, open from May to October, is also close by.
Restaurants, shops, cafés, a bus stop and various other amenities are all only a short walk from the hotel.
The hotel combines contemporary comforts with the distinctive character expected from a Greek island setting.
Every room features a double bed, en-suite bathroom and compact kitchenette, with views over the Aegean Sea.
September weather is ideal: cooler than the height of summer, yet still pleasantly warm for outdoor yoga, swimming and sunbathing.
We can assure you this will be a truly unique experience.
Dates: 16th–20th May 2019.
Levels: The retreat welcomes both beginners and more experienced students.
Rates: 850 euros for a private room, at a fixed 17:1 Rand exchange rate.

Getting to Kythnos
Kythnos is part of the Cyclades and is accessible only by boat. You will fly into Athens Airport (ATH), from where ferries leave for Kythnos from two ports: Piraeus (PIR) and Lavrio (LAV).
Please check the departure dates and times for each port.
Piraeus port is 60 minutes by car from the airport and can also be reached by metro. The ferry journey to the island takes 3hours 30min. Lavrio is a smaller port, located 30 minutes by car from the airport and reachable only by taxi. Its ferry crossing to the island takes 2 hours.
Ferry timetables and tickets for both ports can be found here: http://travel.viva.gr/en/ferries
We recommend allowing one day either side of the retreat for travelling, particularly as Athens has its own irresistible city charm.

Please be aware that a 50% deposit is required to reserve your place, with the remaining balance payable 30 days before departure. A non-refundable cancellation charge of 40 euros applies to cover administration and FOREX payment fees.
