Butantã Shopping, in São Paulo’s West Zone and managed by Carrefour Property, will hold a free Pilates class on 24 August. Part of the Projeto Viver Mais initiative, the session is designed to encourage healthier habits while giving visitors a morning focused on wellbeing and body care. Places are limited, and registration is now open through the shopping centre’s website.
Pilates class and health benefits
Open to people aged over 18, the class will focus on muscle strengthening, improved posture, flexibility, physical fitness and body awareness. Qualified instructors will lead the activity, offering an opportunity for those looking to improve their quality of life.
“ We want participants to find an accessible space at the shopping centre where they can try activities that help make their routine healthier and lighter,” says Franklin Pedroso, marketing coordinator at Butantã Shopping.
Requirements for Projeto Viver Mais participants
To take part, attendees must present a medical certificate issued by a cardiologist, general practitioner or geriatrician, together with a copy of their Brazilian identity card or driving licence. Participants must also wear the project T-shirt, and absences will only be accepted on presentation of a medical certificate.
